On September 19, 2025, the Mediterranean Corridor Working Group convened at IUAV’s Ca’ Tron in Venice, organised in the framework of the Mediterranean Transport Corridor fora with stakeholders.
The Working Group, titled “The Mediterranean Corridor between Solidarity Lanes and the Cotton Road”, explored how ports – with particular reference to those located in the Northern Adriatic – can strengthen harmonised procedures and coordination to improve harmonised and cohesive procedures across the North Adriatic Ports system.
The second part of the forum, on the other hand, focused on the development of cross border connections on the Eastern part of the Mediterranean Corridor, with the aim of improving international trade with an eye to security of the whole European Union.
