On October 22–23, 2025, the Stati Generali della Logistica del Nord-Ovest were held in Turin, organised by the Regions of Piemonte, Liguria and Lombardia.
A highlight of the event was the renewal of the 2019 memorandum of understanding between the three Regions, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (MIT), Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI) and Ferrovienord, which formalises a permanent monitoring table for strategic railway infrastructure in the Northwest part of Italy.
The aim is to strengthen the area’s logistics system, enhancing competitiveness, sustainability and territorial integration. The meeting also coincided with the 10th anniversary of the Cabina di Regia della Logistica del Nord-Ovest and closed with joint statements by regional presidents and the Minister of Infrastructure confirming the strategic value of the agreement.
