On 2 and 3 December 2025, the North-East Italy Logistics Forum 2025 took place in Trieste, bringing together institutions, logistics operators, infrastructure managers and industry representatives to discuss the future development of the logistics and transport system of North-East Italy.
During the two-day event, participants addressed several strategic topics for the sector, including the role of TEN-T corridors, the development of rail-maritime intermodality, infrastructure digitalisation and the future perspectives of Simplified Logistics Zones (ZLS).
Special attention was also given to technological innovation and the competitiveness of the North-East logistics system, with discussions focusing on logistics nodes, supply chain digitalisation and the integration of port, rail and road networks within the broader European framework. The event represented an important opportunity for dialogue among national and regional institutions, logistics stakeholders and industry operators, reaffirming the strategic role of North-East Italy within European transport and multimodal logistics networks.
