Autostrada del Brennero S.p.A., we contributed to the organisation of the official launch event of the 5G-BEAM project, held on 22 April 2026 in Trento. The project is co-financed by the Connecting Europe Facility – Digital (CEF Digital) programme.
The event brought together institutional representatives, project partners and local stakeholders to present the objectives and upcoming activities of the initiative, focused on developing digital infrastructure and innovative 5G-based solutions along the Brenner Corridor.
Throughout the event, several topics related to the potential of 5G technologies in transport and mobility were discussed, including road safety, smart infrastructure monitoring, safer construction site management and the integrated use of IoT sensors and data analytics to support advanced connected mobility services.
On the previous day, 21 April, a meeting with project partners was also held to discuss the technical and financial progress of the activities, providing the consortium with the opportunity to review ongoing developments and better plan the next operational steps of the project.
